We are Beaten Path
Formed amidst the lakes, pine forests, and open roads of Central Minnesota, Beaten Path is a two-piece rock duo crafting a high-energy sound that proves you don’t need a stage full of players to make serious noise. Built on the raw dynamic between thunderous, groove-driven drumming and grit-infused, heavy guitar riffing, the band locks in with a tight, seamless instinct forged through relentless collaboration. Drawing inspiration from modern hard rock, alternative roots, and post-grunge intensity, Beaten Path strikes a balance between crushing rhythm and memorable, soaring hooks.
Running From Nothing, Running Toward Everything
Raw energy meets honest dynamic in Running from Nothing, Running Toward Everything, the release from Central Minnesota duo Beaten Path. Moving seamlessly between heavy, groove-driven rock riffs and intimate acoustic songwriting, the album explores themes of momentum, persistence, and finding your place. Big sound, unfiltered grit, and zero filler—Beaten Path delivers a record built from the ground up to resonate long after the final note.
What We Offer
High-Energy Hard Rock & Heavy Grooves:
At our core, we thrive on a heavy, driving sound. Fueled by thunderous, groove-heavy percussion and gritty, overdriven guitar riffs, our upbeat tracks deliver the sonic wall and explosive energy of a much larger band.
Alternative Rock & Post-Grunge Intensity:
We draw heavy inspiration from 90s and modern alternative/post-grunge rock. This gives our mid-tempo songs a gritty, atmospheric edge, balancing raw emotion with powerful, hard-hitting choruses.
Dynamic Mid-Tempo Melodic Hooks:
Not every track is dialed to maximum volume. We focus just as much on dynamic arrangement—crafting driving, mid-tempo songs centered around memorable, soaring vocal melodies and intricate guitar phrasing that keep the listener hooked.
Stripped-Down & Acoustic-Driven Moments:
On the acoustic side, we strip away the amplification to let the core songwriting shine. These more intimate, acoustic-driven tracks bring out the raw storytelling and reflective side of our music, proving that our sound holds up just as strongly around a campfire or on an acoustic stage as it does through a full stack.
